EARTH IN MOTION // Founded in March 1974, Warwick Potters Association (Warwick Potters) is a local community group dedicated to pottery. The group grew out of a raku workshop run by the Warwick Arts Council, where its success led participants to form the association. By 1978, Warwick Potters held their first craft markets at Leslie Park, followed by their first exhibition in 1979, showcasing 260 pieces. In 2024, Warwick Potters Association celebrated its 50th anniversary, marking its history, members, and enduring passion for pottery.

An exhibition of their eclectic variety of work has been installed this week at Warwick Art Gallery and will be officially opened tonight at 6pm (Friday 24 April). "Earth in Motion" brings together works that honour clay as a living, responsive material shaped by the movement of human hands.
