Last Friday, 110 guests gathered for the inaugural Battle of Hamel Dinner at the RAAFA Club to raise funds for the 44th Battalion Memorial. Notable guests included His Excellency, The Governor and many Members of Wa Parliament and local Mayors.

Over the course of the night we raised over $5,000 and heard stories from The Governor, Neville Brownian OAM, WO1 Simon Ion and WO1 Peter Firns. We also had many items on display from the Army Museum of WA and support from Australian Army Band Perth.
