www.katherinewheeler.com.au My arts practice is based in Castlemaine, central Victoria.

My work is influenced by my immediate surrondings (domestic and landscape), traditional crafts, collection, marine life and marine habitiats, human influence on the natural world and the life cycle. I graduated from a bachelor of Fine arts,Gold and silversmithing at RMIT in 2007, and previously a Diploma of fine arts at RMIT in 2003. I make wearable and functional ceramic jewellery that combines

my gold and silversmithing background with the medium (clay) that I grew up using as the daughter of a potter. I have exhibited sculptural jewellery and holloware work in solo and group exhibitions in Australia, and internationally, with work represented in collections at Gallerie Marzee, (The Netherlands), and the W.E.McMillan Collection at RMIT, as well as private collections internationally and in Australia. www.katherinewheeler.com.au
