Kiama Art Workshops was founded by local artist, Rhonda Murray. It is now owned and run by Olivia Deans who is passionate about bring people and art together in a fun learning environment. New and varied art workshops are constantly being added, so take an opportunity to book in to tap into your creative side. Workshops are suitable for beginners through to advanced. They are kept to a small numbe

r (usually a maximum of 10 unless otherwise stated) and include sculpture, drawing, painting, printmaking, textile design, jewellery design and much more. All of our artists are experienced in their choice of medium and have several years of teaching background. Come and join Kiama Art Workshops for a fun weekend away with a focus on art!

This has been such a busy work week and it was so nice to sit and paint with our oils class tonight ✨

It definitely topped my energy up and we had lots of laughs 🎨🤭

If you’re thinking that you’re tired, bored, go straight to the TV after work, our next term options are coming and they are so relaxed and social 👥

You don’t just learn to paint, you also experience a beautiful evening out surrounded by lovely people x

How beautiful are these pieces 😍
Last night we learned how to paint rolling waves with a limited colour palette. These were done in less than two hours on canvas pad ✨🎨

One more week of painting a different theme before they move onto their own projects on canvas 🖼️

How stunning is this for a girls getaway picnic ✨✨✨

We are all about trying to build community, creativity, and memory. This is something special and thought out ❤️

So many times have I heard:
❕ “What did we paint for our staff party or birthday paint and sip?”
❕”Oh didn’t we paint a snowman or something?…”.
❕ “I threw mine out…. Or it’s in the garage somewhere”
❕ “We didn’t get help or learn anything”.

Has this ever been you? 😳

It doesn’t need to be like that anymore with our guided or unguided art events that can be hosted at your location or as a picnic on the coast 🌴🎨

Our social art sessions at KiamaCommunityGarden are homely and community focused with your donation going back to the garden 🪴
Kids are welcome with family or guardian support 🤗

It is so special to be able to slow down in a small group, creating over a cup of tea surrounded by nature.

Low pressure, connect, and sit outside 🌞
