Great Memory of Kids Fest on our May 15th Running day in 2016 at the ilrms that had seen Cairns in steam and also in-charge and in command of the Kids Fest Express. Today in 2026 being 10 years later she sits in the shed on display and waiting for the future.

Well Shellharbour Kids Fest and what a day it was as it was a day that was all about fun for families taking part in all those amazing activities and also those trains. A huge thanks to the ILRMS team who as always do an amazing job to keep the railway going for all to enjoy and also thanks to Ann and her team who made kids fest happen, thanks also go to Carol Berry MP who attended and our Mayor Chris Homer who also attended this great event for again all to enjoy..

Join us for Morning Tea on Thursday May 21st from 10am to 12pm as we are raising money for Cancer.
Cost is $10 for a coffee/tea and cake and all funds raised go to this very important task to raise funds for cancer research.
