NEW UPCOMING EXHIBITION: MOTHER ARTIST by Irene Kontakos

Kontakos’ practice explores the complex and often overlooked realities of being both a mother and an artist. Through embroidery and text, she reflects on identity, resilience, sacrifice, and the tension of carrying two demanding roles while refusing to relinquish either.

Join us for an intimate exhibition that challenges romanticised ideas of motherhood and artistic practice. Using her own hair as an unconventional material, Kontakos transforms the traditionally feminine language of embroidery into a raw and subversive reflection on the realities of the mother artist.

Kozlowska’s practice explores the tension between structure and spontaneity, bringing geometric forms and expressive gestures into a dynamic dialogue. Through layered surfaces, contrasting materials, and bold painterly movements, she transforms the canvas into a space where control, impulse, and memory continuously collide.

Join us for an exhibition where abstraction becomes an evolving visual experience, inviting viewers to linger within shifting rhythms of colour, texture, and form. Kozlowska’s works challenge the idea of painting as a resolved image, instead presenting each canvas as an ongoing negotiation between restraint and raw expression.

Craven’s practice explores the relationship between trauma, the body, and the process of reclaiming voice and agency. Through wearable art and sculptural forms, she transforms lived experiences of sexual assault into tactile works that explore resilience, protection, and the possibility of healing.

Join us for an exhibition where wearable art becomes a powerful language for embodied experience. Inspired by the vivid colours, rhythmic forms, and protective qualities of nudibranchs, Craven’s intricate works invite viewers to consider how trauma can be transformed into something expressive, resilient, and beautifully alive.
