A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the recent workshops held at BGLC offices about how recreational activities in the Dyurrite Cultural Landscape can co-exist with protection of culturally significant sites.

These workshops created a space to yarn in an open and collaborative way with valuable input being shared all around balancing recreation and cultural heritage protection.

We’re grateful for the enthusiasm, proactive involvement, and willingness to work together.

Thank you to Climbing Victoria, Arapiles District Community Group, Licensed Tour Operators, and Parks Victoria for being part of the workshops.

The Traditional Owner Caucus of Federation of Victorian Traditional Owner Corporations is looking for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artist to produce branding elements for it.

If you’re unfamiliar with the TOC Caucus, it’s a place where the 12 formally recognised Traditional Owner Corporations come together regularly to build consensus and make decisions on matters relating to care for Country. The Federation is that group’s secretariat, and we provide administrative and policy support to the Caucus’ activities – including managing this branding expression of interest.

Timeframe: Draft v1 delivered by 2 June 2026. Two rounds of revision including delivery draft v2, to be completed by 26 June 2026. Final deliverable(s) and invoice delivered on or by 30 June 2026.
