From stunning coastline towns to charming country villages, you can meet local artists, watch live demos, and try hands-on workshops that offer an intimate glimpse into their artistic process.

Based on the Fraser Coast, Kym Cunningham is an award‑winning sculptor and wearable artist known for her imaginative use of recycled and everyday materials, particularly cardboard.

Art Stars is our monthly children’s art group designed for kids and their grown-ups to create side-by-side - explore, experiment and discover!

Through painting, printing, sculpting, weaving and more, children gain confidence to try new ideas while adults enjoy the chance to be fully involved in the creative process too. It’s about making memories as well as art!

Friday kicked off with a sold out Masterclass on plein air watercolour surrounded by the rivers and coastal scenes from the new exhibition 'Mark Dober: En Plein Air'.

Into the evening, Mark led an artist talk with particular focus on the unique process behind his large scale multi-sheet watercolour and gouache on paper works.

Join acclaimed Victorian artist Mark Dober for a series of relaxed, artist-facilitated en plein air - or in the open air - painting sessions in two stunning local locations.

This is a rare chance to enjoy live demonstrations, learn directly from a practising artist, and still have plenty of time to develop your own work in a relaxed group setting.

Free - All experience levels welcome.
Some art materials provided or bring your own.
