“I love it when my art gets a physical reaction from people.”

Karen Chappelow creates work that hits like lemon juice in a cut - sharp, unexpected, impossible to ignore. Through fierce female energy, absurd scenarios, and biting humour, her art breaks down barriers while making people laugh, think, and start conversations.

Drawing from mythology, anthropology, history, and pop culture, Karen flips traditional power dynamics on their head - handing control back to women, the outsiders, and the underestimated. Bold, unapologetic, and laced with sass, her expressionist paintings and sculptures challenge contemporary society while keeping a wicked sense of humour alive.

Collected around the world, her work doesn’t whisper… it provokes.

What if the stories we hide are the ones that deserve to be seen most?

Julia Mackie is an emerging Melbourne-based intuitive artist creating bold, emotionally charged figurative works that explore strength, vulnerability, and the unspoken truths we carry. Through her instinctive use of colour, texture, and body language, Julia captures raw human emotion in a way that feels both deeply personal and universally understood.

Her signature style balances warm and cool palettes with symbolic feminine themes and narrative-rich compositions. Every work is striking, soulful, and instantly recognisable.

An artist to watch.

Kate Harkin is a figurative contemporary artist based in Brisbane, Australia. Her works are primarily large scale acrylics.

Kate’s style is highly technical and detailed photo-realism with a strong emphasis on patterns of light and colour. Her current art works are based around immersion in water. Emotive, sensual and uplifting, Kate’s paintings celebrate the beauty of life on the Australian beach, evoking feelings of warmth and delight. Her use of colour and light refracted through water create works of art that are both masterful and beautiful. Kate’s debut portfolio of artwork includes a curated collection of primarily figurative works, with a selection of contemporary portraits celebrating the beauty of the female face and figure.
