There’s something for everyone coming up at Redlands Coast Museum, with a wonderful mix of community, music and storytelling experiences over the next few weeks.

Join us on Saturday 30 May for our Redlands Coast Museum Open Day — a free community day filled with vintage displays, live demonstrations, guided tours, interactive exhibits, hidden fairy doors, kids activities and so much more to explore across the Museum grounds. Then on Saturday 6 June, settle in for Croon – Winter Season Showcase Concert with Chris Herden, featuring smooth crooning favourites and beloved hits from the golden era of the 1960s and 70s. History and storytelling lovers can also join us on Tuesday 9 June for Floor Talk: The Last Princess of Lebanon — an incredible true story exploring family history, migration, identity and belonging, beautifully connecting with the themes explored throughout our Immigration Display.

These events are all about bringing people together through shared experiences, local connection and storytelling. Real People, Real Stories.

Participants had a terrific afternoon at Saturday’s Glass Fusion Coaster Workshop as part of the Heritage Artisan Faire Workshops and the Redlands Coast Gallery & Museum Hop weekend.

Under the expert wing of Peter Kane, creativity was flowing as everyone learnt glass cutting, shaping and mosaic techniques to create their own stunning fused glass coasters.

With great company, hands-on creativity and even a glass of wine, this workshop was full of colour, fun and beautiful finished pieces.
