CALLING ALL WRITERS! We are looking for our next generation of authors to come out of the woodwork.

The Write Around the Murray Short Story Competition is open for writers of any age anywhere in Australia. First prize is $1000 and will be judged by best-selling crime novelist, Margaret Hickey.

We are accepting stories up to 3000 words in length on any subject. The competition closes on 1 July 2026.

It’s time to pick up your pens and let your imagination run wild! The Barry Young River of Stories competition is now officially open for local students across the greater Albury Wodonga area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for young writers to showcase their talents in poetry or fiction. With various categories and prizes up for grabs for both individuals and schools, there’s a place for every creative voice.

Dance for Seniors is an inclusive ballet class offering a gentle, structured, and enjoyable experience based on traditional barre and centre formats. Featuring music and productions from The Australian Ballet, these sessions are specifically designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, memory, and musicality.

Our experienced teachers expertly modify all exercises to support participants with limited mobility, degenerative conditions, or short-term memory needs.
