RECREATING HISTORY | The People Behind the Masterpiece
An extraordinary canvas. 110 young artists. 10 teachers. 10 professional artists. Four participating schools. And one shared vision — to bring the Eras of Art to life!
As we share these group photographs from Recreating History at Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children, Dubai, we celebrate the incredible people who came together to make this three-hour artistic journey truly memorable.
From the enthusiastic students and dedicated teachers of International School of Creative Science, Sharjah; Ambassador School, Sharjah; Ryan International School, Sharjah; and Delhi Private School, Sharjah, to the talented artists who guided and inspired the young creators, every participant contributed to this collective masterpiece.
Celebrating our participating artists:
Anjali Sinha, Bhagyashree Sahu, Chandni Padia, Dr. Anum Anwar Ali, Dr. Mankush Srivastava, Hina Asad, Leila Akbar Azfarniam, Manasi Deodhar, Maria Aamer, and Mridu Srivastava- thank you for sharing your creativity, expertise, and passion with the next generation of artists.
We were honoured by the presence and support of: Ms. Ahlam Albannai- Acting Director, Visual Art Department; Mr. Khalil Abdul Wahid- Senior Consultant, Dubai Culture & Arts Authority; Ms. Ayesha Abdulla Al Khaaldi- Senior Administrator, Visual Arts Department, Dubai Culture & Arts Authority
And, of course, our heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children, Dubai, team, whose invaluable support helped bring this ambitious initiative to life.
Every brushstroke told a story. Every colour represented an era. Every hand contributed to a vision that went beyond the canvas — celebrating the power of art to connect generations, inspire young minds, and bring history alive through creativity.
Because behind every remarkable artwork is a remarkable team. And this was truly a masterpiece created together!
Recreating History was presented by Funun Arts Group in partnership with Dubai Culture, celebrating the theme “Eras of Art – A Journey Through Time.”
