Recently stumbled across ’s work at and was drawn to it like a magnet.

The colour captivating you before you’ve had a chance to prepare – saturated, luminous, layered and abstract.

Step back and an entire landscape begins to reveal itself. Cape Town light. Fynbos. Ravines. Rendered in oil by someone who has clearly spent a lifetime mastering colour – and who loves this landscape as deeply as we do.

Looking for a fresh eye.

After 13 years of building and evolving our gallery in Riebeek Kasteel, we’re looking for a part-time curator / gallery collaborator to join us.

Someone with a strong visual sensibility, an interest in contemporary art and design, and a feel for thoughtful, contemporary presentation — both physically and digitally.

This role could suit someone working remotely from Cape Town or elsewhere, with occasional time spent in the gallery.

Experience in curation, gallery work, writing, artist liaison and social media is welcomed.
