What do we carry from one generation to the next?

In Legacy 1.2, Vusi Beauchamp considers the values, experiences and connections passed between generations.

In Shepherd, he explores care and responsibility, challenging traditional ideas of authority and reminding us of our shared humanity.

Both works reflect his belief that dignity and the divine exist equally within us all.

Johan Stegmann takes us from the countryside to the city, with a little chaos along the way.

Maritzburg Sonder 'n See (That Joburg Fire) takes us into the city, where a majestic tree stands against a backdrop of thick smoke, collapsing infrastructure and rubbish.

Kruiz Missiel Kerk presents a rural landscape of mountains, trees and a church, interrupted by a missile launch.

Johan Stegmann’s Hope for the Blind connects his artistic practice to the work of the First Light Project, where he has served as head curator since 2023.

The project raises funds and awareness for Hope for the Blind, a non-profit eye hospital addressing preventable blindness in Limpopo.

All proceeds from the sale of this edition go entirely to the First Light Project.
