Introducing The Last Bow, a stunning new sculpture by James Cook.

There is something irresistible about her confidence, isn’t there?

Chin lifted, hands planted firmly on her hips, sturdy little boots set wide apart, her toy trailing her on her adventures, she stands with the kind of self-possession most of us spend a lifetime trying to rediscover.

She’s captured in a stage of childhood when imagination is limitless, identity unquestioned, and the opinions of others have yet to leave their mark. It’s truly the loveliest celebration of innocence and strength of character existing side by side and evokes a nostalgia for the freedom of childhood security as well as a deeper adult knowing of how admirable the quiet courage of standing in the world exactly as you are really is.

Phew, we’re finally getting back on track after the rollercoaster of the Art for Conservation Auction 2026!
