The Four Kings is a photographic project documenting a single oak tree with four trunks in Kongeeikene. Estimated to be between 500 and 600 years old, the tree was photographed over the course of a year. The tree remains still as its surroundings shift. In this, it becomes both witness and mirror.
Inge is also one of two photographers participating in the Sigma Mentorship.

Marguerite Oelofse, more than 25 years received a heart transplant in Cape Town at just 17 years old. She was given a second life under the care of Dr Susan Vosloo, Africa’s first female heart surgeon. This body of work is expressed through both portraiture and still life, and is a meditation on survival, gratitude, and becoming – told through her lens as both photographer and subject.
Her series reflects what it means to live after being given life.
'Our Heart', was photographed at the site of the accident where her donor lost her life. An ostrich collided with the vehicle, and the injuries she sustained were fatal.

The Flower Sellers Exhibition featured in Die Burger.

Adderleystraat-blommeverkopers gehuldig - Laetitia Pople

Reza Khota - Guitar and pedals
Jonno Sweetman - Drums
Nick Williams - Bass

This Cape Town based trio centres around the 14 year long musical partnership between Reza Khota and Jonno Sweetman who have played together in various incarnations of Khota’s bands, with the longest standing being the quartet with bassist Shane Cooper and saxophonist Buddy Wells. The quartet released their debut album Transmutation in 2013 and Liminal in 2018. The music created together has delved into the common sonic spaces between jazz, rock, afrobeat, ethio-jazz and music beyond classification.

The trio plays original compositions by Khota and Sweetman, as well as some guitar-friendly jazz tunes by other composers.

Please come for a late lunch and drinks, or an early dinner, at the KALKBAY COURTYARD.

It felt as if Adderley Street had come to Kalk Bay!
What a wonderful suprise when Karin Lipari and the whole team from came streaming in with their bouquets. Within minutes the entire room smelled like a flower market.

19/07/2026

Thats the amazing thing about art... Galleries become flower markets and flower sellers become activists and artists become voices and communities and support structures are created!
"Heritage will protect the flower market, but will it protect the individuals?"
Thank you to and Karin Lipari for opening the show. To Orms Cape Town for the beautiful prints and to
for photographing the event. To all the artists, a heartfelt thank you for your work and contributions.

The petition is open until the end of the month. Please sign and share if you identify with the cause.
