What a beautiful day spent at the gallery 👨🏼‍🎨

Art • Space • Connection

These are the values at the heart of what we do — creating a space where creative minds can come together, ideas can overlap and something entirely new can emerge.

Our “Fragmented” collaboration was a beautiful example of just that. Bringing different artists, perspectives and creative processes into one space was so much fun and we loved seeing how each individual piece became part of something bigger.

We believe art is not only about what hangs on the wall — it’s about the connection, conversation and community that happens around it.

What a beautiful evening at Noordhoek Art Point ✨

Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting Salon Hecate, celebrating the launch of Chasing Waves: The Rise of Women’s Surfing in South Africa by Melissa A. Volker and In the Slowness of Melting by Glen Thompson.

It was an evening filled with stories, conversation, poetry, surfing, history and community — bringing together two remarkable authors and their different yet beautifully connected, perspectives on the ocean and the stories held within it.

Thank you again to all those that joined us at the gallery, it was definitely one for the books 📚

What happens when 12 local artists each see only a fragment of the bigger picture? 👀

This weekend, we’re bringing something a little different to Noordhoek Art Point Gallery with FRAGMENTED — a live collaborative creative event.

On Saturday, 5 September, each artist will be given just one fragment of a subject to recreate, without seeing the complete image or knowing exactly how their piece fits into the whole.

Then, on Sunday, 6 September, all 12 drawings will finally come together and the complete image will be revealed for the very first time.

Will the pieces line up? Will the final artwork look anything like the original? There’s only one way to find out 👀

Come pop into the gallery this weekend, watch the artists at work and be part of the final reveal!

BESPOKE PEARLESCENT WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOP ✨

We’re bringing a little shimmer to the gallery this August with Harvest Moon Watercolours 🎨

Join us for a Bespoke Pearlescent Watercolour Workshop in collaboration with Harvest Moon, where we’ll spend the morning exploring their beautiful pearlescent watercolours and creating something uniquely your own.

Hosted by Aimée Kruger, Founder of Noordhoek Art Point Gallery and Angie Bell, Founder of Harvest Moon, this intimate workshop is designed for a maximum of just 10 people — giving everyone the opportunity to experiment, create and enjoy the process in a relaxed gallery setting.

Let me give you fair warning — this is one exhibition you won’t want to miss. And yes, we know we say that often, but Under The Sun truly brings the feeling of summer into the heart of winter. 🌞

We invited local artists to create works inspired by all things sunshine, warmth and long summer days. Beautifully curated, this collection is designed to bring a sense of lightness, joy, and colour to the season, taking the edge off winter’s chill. ❄️
