Playzeum Yuba-Sutter The mission of Playzeum Yuba Sutter is to provide an environment for children and families to explore, discover, create and learn through hands-on play.

Playzeum's mission is to provide our local community with programs, services and hands-on play exhibits where all children, families and community members of diverse backgrounds and abilities can explore, discover, create and learn together. Who we are:

Playzeum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency currently located in Yuba City, CA. Playzeum provides fun, hands-on educational resources for hundreds

of parents, caregivers, educators and children of all ages. Our exhibits and programming enable children to use their imagination and creativity in a friendly and safe environment. Additionally, our exhibits are designed to stimulate curiosity and motivate learning. Playzeum provides the perfect atmosphere where children and families can have fun and learn together. Over the past six years, and through the support of many businesses and individuals within the community, Playzeum has added more learning opportunities for children of Yuba Sutter and surrounding areas. To help Playzeum sustain operations and meet the needs of visitors a new location is need.

Join us tomorrow for our next Pathways at Playzeum session as we welcome Sarah Torrez of Torrez Occupational Therapy for a supportive, practical conversation designed for families navigating sensory differences.

Learn how sensory needs impact everyday life and discover:

💛 The difference between sensory-seeking and sensory-avoidant behaviors

💛 How to better understand your child’s unique sensory profile

💛 Practical tools to support regulation at home, in public spaces, and throughout the community

💛 Strategies that can help make daily routines feel more manageable for the whole family

This caregiver-focused presentation will be followed by refreshments from and as well as inclusive playtime, giving families the opportunity to connect, learn, and build community together 🤗

Join us for a fun-filled hour of friendly competition and family fun at Playzeum!

• Magnetic Tower Challenge
• Paper Airplane Challenge
• Relay Race
• Diaper Changing Challenge (on a doll!)

Dads will compete in exciting challenges for a chance to win a prize and earn ultimate Dad Olympics bragging rights! Bring your energy, teamwork, and sense of humor for this unforgettable event.

Parenting a child with unique needs can bring extra stress, big emotions and a lot of decisions. You don’t have to navigate it alone.

Join us for our next Pathways at Playzeum - Inclusive Family Learning & Play Series session as local therapist Elyse Davis, LMFT, shares practical tools to help caregivers:
• communicate more clearly
• support one another through challenges
• stay connected as a team
• navigate special needs parenting with compassion and understanding

This conversation is designed to be supportive, relatable and completely judgment-free for all caregiving dynamics 🤍
