"Come to the show! It has been an honor to oversee the continued growth of this community's community band. Having been a community musician who would often travel over an hour and a half to find places to play, I appreciate the commitment our musicians have made to making music together. As the overseeing director, it is my goal to program music from all aspects of themes, cultures, and composers so that our community, young to old can appreciate at least one piece every concert. Please join us as we take on this musical journey across the sea as we feature the large work by Francis McBeth, "Of Sailors and Whales" and Alfred Reed's "Seascape" featuring the beautiful sounds of local musician, David Bole on Euphonium! It was an honor for us to once again host the Marysville Charter Academy for the Arts Senior Awards event. So many deserving students were recognized for not only their artistic achievements but for academic excellence as well. Bravo to the amazing educators and administrators who inspire these young people everyday.

This month’s selection is “Hardball: A Season in the Projects” by Daniel Croyle. The Reel Book Society is always accepting new members! This is a book and film club that meets bimonthly via the discord platform where we watch the film together and have discussions. Each book we read has a film adaptation and we spend time comparing the two works. Ages 18+. Information or to sign up contact [email protected]

Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture was proud to host this event at its Sutter Theater Center for the Arts. We are currently working with the CA Health Collaborative, Sutter County Health and ETR on several projects related to educating youth on the dangers of to***co and ni****ne in all their many forms.
