CANCELED: WYANDOTTE STARS ANNUAL HOME CLASSIC

Due to forecasted showers and storms on Saturday, 8/22, the difficult decision was made to cancel the vintage ball game at Memorial Field. The teams hope to reschedule. Stay tuned to this page for updates.

Wyandotte’s Fall Citywide Garage Sale is just around the corner (can you believe it?!), and registration begins tomorrow, August 11. Residents can sign up at the museums office, 2624 Biddle Ave., Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm.

Th 2026 sale is September 11, 12, & 13.

The application can be found on the city website at https://www.wyandottemi.gov/572/tours-events (click on the ‘Fall City-Wide Garage Sale’ submenu), or filled out at our office. To find out more, access the application or contact staff at 734-324-7284; [email protected].

Due to air quality concerns, the Wyandotte Museum will be closed to tours, Thursday, July 16.

The Wyandotte Museums are pleased to share the winning video for the Museum Tik Tok Challenge as students from Roosevelt High School visited the class as part of Mark Diroff's Wyandotte History class this past April. Students were tasked with documenting their visit and creating a video of the event.

The winning team of Michael Hill, Bailey Botts, and Madison Amos each received $20 gift cards to local establishments.

Thanks to all students that participated and look for more Tik Tok Challenge events in the future!

Museums Office open Saturday, May 2 for Garage Sale Registration!

The Burns Home will be open from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, this Saturday, May 2 for those who would like to register for the Spring Citywide Garage Sale. As a reminder, registration is ongoing and runs through May 12. Residents may come to the Burns Home Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm to register as well. We are opening this Saturday as some residents have told us in the past it is difficult to get to our office during normal business hours.

Important Information:

-The cost to register is $20, which includes a lawn sign and permit.
-The office accepts cash and check only.
-Residents must register in person at 2624 Biddle Ave.
-$5 can be reimbursed if the sign is returned by May 26.

Art Show at Museum this weekend!

The Local Artists Guild Art Show is May 2 and 3 at the Wyandotte Museum (Ford-MacNichol Home, 2610 Biddle Ave.) from 11am to 4:30pm. Admission is free and the house will be open to tour. Artists will be displaying and selling their pieces.

We hope you can join us for this event. Enjoy a couple of photographs of our campus this beautiful, yet cool, spring day!
