Reynolda recently welcomed newly appointed Wake Forest University President Dr. Peter Rodriguez for his first visit since assuming office on July 1.

Dr. Rodriguez spent the afternoon exploring works in the museum’s permanent collection with Reynolda House founder Barbara Babcock Millhouse and Allison Perkins, Wake Forest University Associate Provost for Reynolda House and Reynolda Gardens.

As an integral part of WFU, Reynolda brings together art, history, gardens, and education in a place that has been part of the university’s story for generations. We were pleased to welcome Dr. Rodriguez and introduce him to more of the people, places, and collections that make Reynolda such a special part of Wake Forest.

We’re excited for another year of connecting and collaborating with the students, faculty, and staff at Wake Forest.

Garden rules? Director of Reynolda Gardens Jon Roethling has a few thoughts. 🌱

Roethling believes the best gardens aren’t about following every rule, they’re about choosing plants that thrive, keeping things interesting and leaving room to experiment.

Read the full article from Dengarden for advice from the expert behind Reynolda’s iconic gardens.

A historic garden’s most useful lesson may be knowing when to break the old rules.

Nam June Paik's "Leonardo da Vinci" is glowing once again, and now you can experience it in a new setting.

Now on view on the Tea Porch inside Reynolda's Historic House, this groundbreaking work by the pioneering video artist has returned to life following an extensive restoration. Using custom technology, careful conservation, and a deep commitment to preserving Paik's artistic vision, our collections team brought the sculpture's vibrant moving images back for visitors to enjoy.

The restoration even reunited the work's two original video sequences, allowing Leonardo da Vinci to appear as Paik intended more than three decades ago.

Stop by the museum to see this one-of-a-kind work in motion and experience the intersection of art, technology, and innovation.
