“Looking Up”. Sun series. Blues shift and become deeper, trees now have a dark side ultramarine blue and purple then the lighter side in burnt sienna and magenta. Too much fun!!! Anita

ANNOUNCEMENT:
There will be NO watercolor classes this fall.

Winter Watercolor Classes will be scheduled for January 7, 8, 9, 2027.

The Gallery will be open this fall, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays starting September 10, 11, 12, 2026.

Hi Michigan Lighthouse Art followers,
I am working on new painting. I have the lime yellow acrylic background done.
Phase 2
Doing a large value sketch on tracing paper the size of the canvas. 24"x30"
Step 3.
Transferring corrected sketch to canvas and painting the trees in black acrylic. Painting the sun in white.

I will post as soon as I get done with Step3.

Starting in August, I will be painting in the Gallery/ #200 Thursdays and Fridays 10-4. Stop up and say HI🤗
