The Field Gallery on the island of Martha's Vineyard offers a comfortable, supportive, ever-changing exhibition environment, featuring contemporary art by both emerging and established artists. Founded in 1970, the gallery hosts three spaces with rotating exhibits of paintings, sculpture, photography, jewelry, and more. Outside, the large field is home to the whimsical sculptures of Field Gallery

founder Tom Maley and many others. We continue to host an impressive group of more than 25 talented artists all with an island connection and endless Vineyard charm.

A sneak peek at two of Jennifer Brown’s newest textile pieces, "Softly Stirring Seas-Day" and "Softly Stirring Seas-Night", which will be on display in her upcoming show, opening this Saturday at 4pm! 🌊✨

These beautiful works explore Jennifer's love of texture, color, and the natural world. Inspired by the meeting of land and sea and the gentle paths through the woods and beaches of her Martha's Vineyard home, each piece evokes the calm and wonder of being by the sea.

Four resident gulls hunker down on the West Chop dock in Vineyard Haven Harbor on a stark January morning. In Michael Stimola’s evocative infrared photograph, the familiar Island landscape takes on a quiet, otherworldly quality, revealing light beyond the range of normal human vision.

Printed on translucent Kozo washi paper, the image has a soft, velvety presence that beautifully complements Stimola’s signature black-and-white photographs of Martha’s Vineyard.
