The Field Gallery on the island of Martha's Vineyard offers a comfortable, supportive, ever-changing exhibition environment, featuring contemporary art by both emerging and established artists. Founded in 1970, the gallery hosts three spaces with rotating exhibits of paintings, sculpture, photography, jewelry, and more. Outside, the large field is home to the whimsical sculptures of Field Gallery

founder Tom Maley and many others. We continue to host an impressive group of more than 25 talented artists all with an island connection and endless Vineyard charm.

Susie White's work often starts from a seed of organic inspiration: the way lichen grows on a stone wall, the intense color of marsh grass in early summer, or patterns found in ice. Using a technique she developed as a scenic artist, White then uses a variety of materials to paint on panels of primed Masonite, and finally arranges the components into a single, connected idea🌱

Jorma is an American guitarist whose work spans blues, folk, and rock. Best known as a founding member of Jefferson Airplane and the longtime force behind Hot Tuna, he is celebrated for his expressive fingerstyle playing and for blending psychedelic rock with deep American roots traditions. Recognized by Rolling Stone among the “100 Greatest Guitarists,” his influence continues across generations of musicians.⁠
