From childhood to womanhood. I was just a pup when all this began- opening my first gallery in the year 2000 at Nip+Tuck Farm under the name, Haystack Gallery. Haystack was uniquely multi faceted- a farm stand/ art gallery. I grew and sold flowers and vegetables in the fields out front and showed my paintings in old Milk bottling room in the back. Not sure how I got this far hustling myself all these years: 7 years as Haystack at Nip + Tuck in West Tisbury, 7 years as kara taylor fine art on Main st. in Vineyard Haven, and currently 10 years as Kara Taylor Gallery (new logo:) on south road in Chilmark.
Most of all its always a treat to see the light on your faces and hear your thoughtful words. I couldn't have done it all these years with out your admiration, love and support.
