We're at the new location of the West Chester Pumpkin Fest. Come on out to the Square at Union Center for all the festivities until 6 pm .

Find your Halloween spirit and enjoy a great family afternoon at The Great Pumpkin Fest on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2-6 p.m. at Keehner Park.

We'll have something for everyone at this free event, including a petting zoo, trick-or-treat trail, Madcap puppet shows, hayrides, a touch-a-truck, giveaways, games and more!

There will also be a kids' costume parade, and food truck treats available for purchase. Don't miss this colorful community event!

Join us Saturday, September 19, as we celebrate Ohio Open Doors and West Chester Founder's Day. We'll be open from 10 am to 5 pm. Catch the trolley in Olde West Chester and ride to the History Center from 10 am to 3 pm. Check out the new siding and paint on the barn. It's still a work in progress but it's really nice.The Interpretive Native Garden still has some fall color and is still buzzing with pollinators. Hope to See You There.

It's Share Time!

Share memories of every day life, growing up in West Chester (Union) Township . Photos welcome.

For instance, the Village of Tylersville, also known as Pug or Pug Muncy, had a baseball team (in the 50's ?) called the Jets that played teams from other parts of the township. No known photos. Not much info other than that.

Or memories of the neighborhood ladies getting together at corn harvest time to sit and shuck corn and catch up on everybody's news. Or heading to the woods with friends to hunt for PawPaws.

Long bike rides. Stopping to snack on wild crab apples or at a farm house to ask for a drink.

The Liberty Tree Planting Ceremony will begin at 12 noon, not at 11 AM as stated on the original announcement.

The ceremony will begin at 12 Noon.

You are invited to join us as the Hopewell Chapter of the DAR and Mason VFW Color Guard present a planting of a Liberty Tree at the West Chester History Center.
