(Weekend hours return with our summer schedule on May 1st.) Admission for self-guided outside-only tours is $2 for Adults, $1 Children 5-11. Children under 4 and Museum Members are free.Special event pricing varies; see event page or website for details. In October, we become a family-friendly Haunted Village for three weekends. Holly Days in December is another winter-time family-fun event. Watch

The Cincinnati Dulcimer Society will be playing music on Vorhes porch this Saturday from 10:30am to noon! Stop by to enjoy folk, fiddle, a bit of bluegrass, old mountain tunes, and music from Stephen Foster. This performance will be included in the cost of admission.

As darkness falls, step through the wrought-iron gates of the Village and explore historic buildings, hear their strange stories, and take part in an immersive paranormal investigation. From unexplained footsteps to disembodied voices, what will you encounter?

Thank you everyone who made Little Village in the Big Woods such a memorable weekend! A special thank you to Dean Butler (Almanzo Wilder) and Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson) for taking the time to meet with fans from near and far. The lines were long, but both graciously stayed hours late on both days to ensure that every fan had the opportunity to meet them. Their kindness, generosity, and dedication made the event truly special.

We are incredibly grateful to our wonderful volunteers who helped with demonstrations, set up, clean up and everything in between. Events like this would not be possible without our wonderful volunteers.

Thank you to Richard Fisher for sharing his remarkable collection of Laura Ingalls Wilder artifacts. Thank you to Jim's Red Pants and the Cincinnati Dulcimer Society for filling the Village with beautiful music of the era, and to the Forget Me Not Dancers for teaching visitors fun, historical dances.

We also extend our appreciation to the Greater Cincinnati Garden Railway Society for captivating visitors with trains on the new outdoor railway. Another special thank you goes out to the American Side Saddle Association for delighting visitors by demonstrating equestrian history.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a success! We had a wonderful weekend celebrating the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder and look forward to making it even better next year!
