3B Designs Custom painted model horses - for show or display! 3B Designs is model horse painting studio. I NO LONGER TAKE CUSTOM ORDERS.

I cater not only to the model horse hobby, but also to horse lovers everywhere. I work with a variety of mediums including acrylics, airbrushing, and pastels. Due to the unrealistic timeframes of individuals - I can no longer accept custom work. I will offer horses as they are completed. I will ONLY do custom work if I have done work for you previously. I DO NOT accept trades for my horses - unless you have a particular horse which I really want to paint.

FRESH PAINT!!

These guys are tiny! Yes, that is a penny in the picture to show just how tiny they are. Wee little Old Timers. One is a dappled chestnut, the other a dappled bay. You get them both! These.old.nags are waiting patiently at the fence for their next shift of moving feed from the mill, or maybe logs from the timber, or maybe some farm work.

They come on their custom base as well. They are not permanent to the base. They are "tied" with their one rein but you can undo it and show them separately, or maybe create an even more diorama for them. The other rein is wound up and is permanently attached to them. Possibilities are endless. :)

FRESH PAINT!!

Breyer traditional scale Old Timer. This mold is a collectors favorite! This was a really scratched up old dapple grey....so he needed to have some new clothes.

So....buckskin Appaloosa it is!! He was hand painted by me using pastels and hand detailed with acrylics. He has multi colored eyes and pastelled hooves. Nostril pinking too! And it is only fitting that an Old Timer have a hat! I can't recall who made it but it is a green "straw" style hat that I added little flowers to. My work has been live show champion proven for over 30 years. He is freshly done and ready for a show home!!

FRESH PAINT!!

Breyer traditional scale Shannondell....with a little twist!! Besides his flashy dapple black to is no pattern, he has removable bobs for easier shipping and transport to shows. The bobs sit inside holes but for a little extra stability you can put a little sticky wax in the hold or glue them in if you want. He was hand painted by me using pastels and hand detailed with acrylics. He has multi colored eyes and pastelled hooves. Nostril pinking too! My work has been live show champion proven for over 30 years. He is freshly done and ready for a show home!!

This beauty is being offered because he was a custom order and the customer backed out, so he's up for grabs!
