October 2, 1948 marked the rebirth of American Road Racing post World War II and the first of five years of side by side racing in the streets of Watkins Glen. This was also the SCCA’s first road race.

📚New Event At The Center! 📚

The IMRRC is excited to announce a new program rolling out this summer! Next month, The Center will host two motorsports themed story hours on July 17 & July 31 at 10:00 am. Designed for ages 3-6, each session will allow children to dive deeper into the world of motorsports through stories and hands on activities. This event is open to the public but space is limited. Registration is required!
