“Time Wears Us" An Art Collaboration by Staff and Individuals at the Watertown Day Program Cluster A!

"This work traces the quiet passage of life across generations- how innocence becomes curiosity, curiosity becomes ambition, and ambition becomes a world shaped by technology and desire.

At its center, a figure absorbed in a phone reflects the present: connected, yet drifting. Around them, symbols of status and material weight grow louder, until time softens everything back into silence.

In the end, we return to simplicity. Not as a loss, but as completion.

We don’t just move through time-time moves through us, shaping and wearing us, until we become what we were always returning to.

"Jennifer Ziller is a holistic visual art educator who dabbles in expressive arts therapy notions within, as well as, outside of the classroom. As an educator, I felt as though the holistic intersection of benefit that crosses between free-form art making and self-reflection is essential. I tend to gravitate towards abstract color expressionism when it comes to the medium mode of choice. My work is a vibrant tapestry of pigments and formation, where each brushstroke is integrated with a sense of
the organic emotions. Influenced by non-representational aesthetics and the transformative power of creativity, Jennifer’s art is a conduit for therapeutic expression and nostalgic connection. Her style is fluid and immersive, often described as both ethereal and grounded in emotional truth. Through her current practice, Jennifer continues to explore the intersection of creativity and well-being- using her art as a means to support emotional expression, self-discovery, and community connection."
