Not gonna lie, the title for this collection might change. It’s been evolving, becoming more to me than I thought it could. Textured, raw, real parts of me showing up on canvas. I’d love to your title for this piece.

Painting over, around and wherever until I get it right.

This piece is about the happiness of freedom- getting away from it all, connecting with nature, and riding free.

What did you do this weekend? I love living in an art town! Even the skateboard block party had art.

My weekend was full of art shows and celebrating.

From friends in solo shows to winning awards and my son just had his first paid commission so we took him out for sushi (his request!).

So what did you do this weekend?

Signing these gorgeous prints today! Curious what these are? They are proofs (and stunning 8x10 signed prints on archival paper) for my client to choose her fav image of her horse for me to paint a custom horse portrait.

I don’t have to be the photographer of your horse to paint it, but I do love getting to know the horses first hand. They have so much personality ❤️

This one is SOLD to one of my favorite people: my sister! I love that it hangs in my childhood home where I can still appreciate it because I love this piece. I also LOVE that it is a symbol of strength in a chaotic world and my sis is a strong person who keeps carrying on matter what life throws at her.

No matter how invisible the world or your circumstances have made you feel, hope waits.

You are beautiful, friend, and hope is not behind you. Share this with a friend.

If you are looking for something to do this weekend, visit Dama Gallery Ventura and see 3 of my paintings in our group show.

These paintings are all about community, the blending of different cultures, focused on where natural landscaping meets humanity. Each is based on a drone image. See them in person to see the textures and gold leaf sparkles :)
