mobile program while we design, and fundraise for the brick-and-mortar children’s museum. The Children's Museum of the Magic Valley (CMMV) provides hands-on learning through play and discovery! CMMV focuses exhibits, programming, and children's activities on the Magic Valley's 37,000 children ages birth through eleven years. The research and concept development behind CMMV has been ongoing since mid-2018 when it was founded as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our goal is to establish a permanent, state-of-the-art children's museum in Twin Falls. Downtown Twin Falls is the heart of our community, and CMMV is eager and committed to becoming a vital part of this historical area. While we raise the funds needed to build the permanent museum, we operate as a "Museum without Walls" with our CMMV On the Go! mobile program throughout South Central Idaho. Join us in welcoming Jessy Visser as our newest board member!

Jessy grew up in the Magic Valley and is passionate about contributing to the community she has chosen to call home with her husband, Luke, and their son. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and has a professional background in engineering, project management, and design. Her career has evolved into residential design, where she combines her technical expertise with creativity and a passion for creating thoughtful, functional spaces. Jessy is also a local yoga instructor and enjoys being involved in community outreach, event planning, and volunteer engagement.

As a mother raising her family in the community where she grew up, she has a personal appreciation for the importance of creating spaces where children and families can connect, learn, and grow. She believes the Children's Museum will become an invaluable third space for children of all ages, fostering curiosity, connection, and a stronger sense of community. Jessy is excited to help bring this vision to life and contribute to a project that will benefit local families for generations to come.

What a great turnout for our first High School Club Rush!

We welcomed over 100 students from across the Magic Valley for an evening of connection, leadership, and community!

With ten participating clubs and organizations, students had the opportunity to explore leadership programs, discover volunteer opportunities, and learn more about the amazing organizations in our area. Between the interactive booths, passport challenge, raffle prizes, and delicious food from Tacos El Guey, it was a great evening!

A huge thank you to all of our participating clubs and organizations, our event partner Idaho Playground Project, and our generous sponsor, Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU), for helping make this event possible.

Most importantly, thank you to all the students who came out! It was wonderful to see so many young people connecting with organizations throughout the Magic Valley.

We’re already looking forward to next year!
