1939 Delco R-1152 radio custom finished in Cobalt Blue and "Catalin Swirl" Bronze.

1939 Zenith 5-R-312 radio custom finished in Ruby Red, "Catalin Swirl" Bronze and Black.

1947 Fada 740 custom finished in Turquoise Blue, Green and "Catalin Swirl" Silver.

A pamphlet from 1929 promoting the opening presentation of the Halliburton-Abbott Department Store on December 2; weeks after the stock market crash that took place in late October. The store survived only two years, after which it was converted into a Sears. Sears closed the location in 1958 when their new location at 21st and Yale opened, with the building being demolished around 1980.

We have this rare postcard in our DECOPOLIS Archives collection of this Barnsdall station in Tulsa. I love the theatricality of it. Looks like something out of a Hollywood fantasy version of a sign from the era. Our "William The Artist" cleaned up the postcard, got rid of cracks and stains, and enhanced the image to bring out some details (you are seeing a "small version" of the image here) and then for a bit of fun, described to ai what he wanted in a night scene, what he thought it would look like, how the sign, lettering and building would be lit up, etc. Then worked on it a bit in photoshop to give the image a DECOPOLIS glow-up. We think it turned out pretty neat! Love the description on the back of the old postcard as well
