Established in 1987, Desert Artisans’ Gallery is a fine art gallery located in Tucson, Arizona. It is owned and operated by local artists from southern Arizona. The gallery features contemporary works in oil, acrylic, photography, jewelry, watercolor, wood, ceramics, glass, and more with over 60 artists represented.

Fall Classic is officially here! 🍂

We’re so excited to welcome our newest show, filled with beautiful works inspired by the changing season and the colors, landscapes, and feeling of fall in the desert.

And Alisa Raines’ newest work is truly something incredible. This stunning oil painting captures the beauty and vastness of the desert landscape in a way that is even more breathtaking in person. A definite must-see… especially before it finds its new home and is gone! 😉

Have you noticed all the beautiful butterflies around Tucson these past few weeks? There’s something so special about watching them make their way through our desert during their incredible migration.

That beautiful journey inspired Gretchen Huff to create this stunning watercolor of monarchs among the desert blooms. We love the way she captured not only their beauty, but a little glimpse of the magic we’ve been lucky enough to witness right here in Tucson.

This piece will be part of our newest show, Fall Classic, opening this Tuesday at Desert Artisans Gallery!

There’s something so special about the quiet moments of the Sonoran Desert, a wandering bobcat, towering saguaros, colorful desert growth, and the mountains stretching into the distance. Madeline Shea captures that feeling beautifully in this vibrant watercolor, bringing the warmth, wildness, and character of the desert to life.

This is the last week to come see our summer collection before we change the gallery over for our fall show! Come by and enjoy these pieces one more time, then join us next Friday, October 9th from 5–7 PM for our Fall Show Opening Reception.

Make sure to mark your Calendars and stop by next Saturday, September 19th from 9am to 2pm for (what may just be our favorite event) our semi-annual sidewalk sale!
