The Townsend Historical Society would like to express our deep appreciation to the estates of Bernard and Joan Moran, and of Albert Cadrette, for their donations that helped us raise over $2,300 at last weekend's town-wide yard sale.

The Townsend Historical Society will be selling a truckload of donated used furniture at the Cherry Hill Too parking lot during the Town Wide Yard Sale on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th - 9 AM - 4 PM both days. Some pictures of that furniture are shown. All proceeds go to the Townsend Historical Society. Come and help THS and get a good deal at the same time!

Thanks to all who attended our author talk and potluck dinner on Sunday, April 12th at St. John the Evangelist Parish Hall in Townsend. Bob Arnold will give a presentation on his grandparents’ road trip around the U.S. in a Model T in 1927. This event is sponsored by the Yankee Ingenui” T” s Model T Club of Townsend, MA and the Townend Historical Society.
