Exactly six years after undergoing surgery for cancer during a time of immense uncertainty, I am filled with overwhelming gratitude. Through many subsequent challenges, I committed myself to maintaining my studio practice as a source of strength.

Yesterday, I received the incredible news that my painting, “The Lesson,” was awarded First Place at the Fitchburg Art Museum’s 90th Regional Exhibition. I am absolutely thrilled to announce that this honor includes a solo exhibition at the museum in the summer of 2027!

Sincere thanks to FAM Director, Nick Capasso and the museum team, and to the distinguished juror, Lissa Cramer (Director of the Boston University Art Galleries), for recognizing my work.

This milestone reinforces a vital truth: life is an unpredictable gift. No matter the obstacles, we must persevere and keep moving forward.

I am excited to I announce my painting, The Lesson (acrylic on canvas), was accepted into the prestigious 90th Regional Exhibition at the Fitchburg Art Museum! This work explores complex narrative and symbolism, and I am honored to have it recognized and exhibited among the best artists in New England. The exhibition runs from June 20 through September 13, 2026. I invite you to join me in Fitchburg to see this piece as well as all the other awesome works of art.
