Old time photography is a must in Tombstone. Can Can Old Time Photos has a wide choice of 1880s costumes and authentic props to pose with. Once owned by a man named Quong Kee. Owner of the Can Can Restaurant in the 1880s. Quong was a well-traveled man for those days, having been to Hong Kong, Stockton (CA), Virginia City (NV), Willcox (AZ), and Tombstone. He took over Ah Sing's Can Can restaurant after arriving in Tombstone and proved to possess excellent management skills. Quong Kee died in Bisbee, Arizona, and was buried the same day at the Evergreen Cemetery in January 1938. Friends had him moved from his pauper's grave and laid to rest in Boothill beside the friends he knew in life. Come to Tombstone and you'll be photographed in one of Tombstone's few buildings that came through the 1881 and 1882 fires. This building has been many things in the many years it remains standing. Ike Clanton was a key figure in the infamous Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, and his life was marked by violence and controversy. His death marked the end of a tumultuous life, and a fitting end to a man who lived by the gun.

Ike lived to scheme another day. But his escape didn’t buy him redemption. With Wyatt Earp’s vendetta ride cutting a bloody path through Arizona, Ike retreated north, setting up a new base of operations near Springerville at a ranch they called the Cienega Amarilla, tucked against the shadow of Escudilla Mountain. From there, they built a thriving “cattle business”. The Clantons and their gang became notorious once again, accused of rustling, robbing, and even holding up the Apache County treasurer. Ike strutted around like a man of means, tossing money about and convincing himself he was a legitimate businessman. But everyone in Springerville knew the truth: the Clanton name was as crooked as ever.

By spring of 1887, only Ike remained. Brighton and Miller tracked him through the rough Blue River country until one morning, while eating breakfast at Peg Leg Wilson’s ranch, fate came riding in. Ike appeared out of the trees, Wi******er at the ready, but Brighton was faster. His first shot tore through Ike’s side; his second hit the saddle. The onetime loudmouth of Tombstone fell dead in the dirt before he could even return fire. They wrapped his body in canvas, buried him on Wilson’s ranch, and marked the end of an outlaw who’d spent his life running from courage. No marker stands today—just an unmarked grave somewhere in the wilds of Arizona, where the wind whispers through the grass and the legend of Ike Clanton fades quietly into dust.
