Center for Traditional Louisiana Boat Building The Center is located in the former Ford Garage in Lockport. Classes for traditional wooden boat building offered on site by appointment.

The Center for Traditional Louisiana Boat Building Museum @ 170 Jean Charles Blvd, Gray LA 70359 (behind Chevron Warehouse @ 2219 W Park Ave)... Not accepting mail at this address... see below for mailing address. The building was originally built in 1908 and was recently restored in order to provide a facility to house the collection of boats and artifacts that have been preserved by the Friends for Traditional Louisiana Boat Building.

Center for Traditional Louisiana Boat Building at Jean Charles in Gray, Louisiana! Come visit as we put the final touches on our location at 170 Jean Charles Blvd., Gray, Louisiana.
The location would not have been possible with a grant from the Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary. We will continue to raise funds for a state of the art museum and workshop on the campus of Nicholls State University.
