We have several displays in honor of military veterans from the early wars to the present. The geology section will rock your socks and don’t forget to check out the annex where a hundred-year-old schoolhouse opens its doors for class every spring! The Hot Springs County Museum Board and Staff would like to sincerely thank our volunteers for their vital contributions to the success of our recent fundraiser. Whether you helped set up and break down tables, managed ID checks, served at the bar, or prepared and served the milk can dinner, your hard work made all the difference. We also offer a special thank you to our Memory Keepers for sharing their knowledge and preserving the precious history of Hot Springs County with our patrons.

FUNDRAISER: The Grand Opening for the Hot Springs County Museum was July 4, 1941. Since that time, our mission has been to preserve Hot Springs County History. Our walls are brimming with original, authentic history of our County.

We hope you will join us for our fundraiser during Trailblazer days to include live entertainment, drinks at the famous Hole in the Wall Bar, viewing the famous 1 of 3 original wedding pictures of Sundance Kid and Etta Place, Trek to 16 Mule Team Johnson's Homestead and old fashion milk can dinner. We are also excited to have Local Memory Keepers available to visit with and ask questions you have always had about our County, our Town and our History - also bring YOUR stories of our County!

$40 TICKET GIVES YOU ACCESS TO ALL EVENTS AT THE MUSEUM STARTING IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PARADE at 11 am.

$20 GIVES YOU ACCESS TO EVERYTHING BUT THE TREK AND DINNER - entertainment and bar are open until 8pm.
