Bryant House Museum

Bryant House Museum 1890 Queen Anne style house containing original furnishings, art, and personal belongings. In 1890 Edward W. Folsom. or by calling for an appointment 402-870-1127

and Rose Folsom Bryant commissioned a New York architect to design the plans for their new home to be built in the growing community of Tekamah, Nebraska. Rose was the granddaughter of Tekamah's founder, Benjamin R. For 120 years the house was the Bryant family residence. In 2011 the home was bequeathed to the Burt County Museum. Visitors entering the home are transported back in time to the eleg

ance and grace of the Victorian era. The Bryant House is open to the public Friday and Saturday, 1 - 4 p.m.

The Historic Bryant House in Tekamah will be open this holiday weekend, May 22 & 23rd. Friday 1-4 and Saturday we will have extended hours from 10-4 so visitors can stop by after “Coffee on the Porch” held at the Burt County Museum. The Historic Bryant House has displayed TH school memorabilia, military uniforms and a variety of toys played with by the Bryant children

Tekamah-Herman JAG students helped at the Historic Bryant House by taking Christmas trees to rooms then setting them up. They also put the outside decorations up on lamppost and porch. Thank you so much to a great group of kids!!
