LRMA will be closed in observance of Juneteenth on Thursday, June 18 and Friday, June 19 (in observance of St. Petersburg College's holiday and summer hours).

As we pause to reflect on this important day, we highlight “Among the Stars: Tribute to Faith Ringgold” by Hanna Vogeler and Coral Walden, on view in "Creative Clay: A Mosaic of Color" through July 19, 2026. This vibrant fabric collage honors Faith Ringgold’s legacy as a pioneering artist and activist. Inspired by Ringgold's Story Quilts, "Among the Stars" combines painting, fabric, and handwritten text portraying the late artist with an inspiring message.

Join us this evening at 6pm in the interactive gallery, in partnership with the City of Tarpon Springs Sustainability Committee, we will explore how mental health can be strengthened through a sustainability lens by integrating trauma-informed care, longevity principles, and intentional community outreach.

Expert panelists will discuss how communities can move beyond reactive treatment models toward preventative, resilience-focused systems that promote long-term wellbeing.

Today is an incredibly special day as we congratulate Beth Becker on her retirement and service of 25 years at St Petersburg College. Beth has been here since the beginning of the museum and we will miss her tremendously. We are so thankful to have had her on our team all these years. Thank you for everything Beth! We are so excited for you on your next adventure.
