We’ll be closed for a few weeks while we relocate, so we’d love to see your faces before we vanish into a cloud of bubble wrap and packing tape.

Treasure Cove Update #47

The walls are no longer just walls.

They’re becoming the backdrop for future crystal discoveries, fossil finds, chocolate temptations, gift-giving victories, and countless “Oh my gosh, look at THIS!” moments.

Today, our amazing volunteers Stella and Cynthia helped turn a blank canvas into something worthy of a treasure cave. 🙏💕🧜🏻‍♀️ So grateful for their generosity and amazing skills!

From June 1st-14th, the ENTIRE shop at Manic Mermaid Minerals is 25% OFF.

Why are we doing this?

Because in a few short weeks we’ll be packing up TEN YEARS of magical chaos and moving to our new home on South Tacoma Way… and apparently crystals do not shrink when boxed. Rude, honestly.

Last live before The Move!

Mammoth Teeth just arrived and boy was I surprised!!🦣

Ok… these just got about 100x cooler.

Not only are these genuine Ice Age mammoth teeth with incredible natural detail from an animal that walked the earth thousands of years ago… but we just discovered they also react under UV light AND show phosphorescence. Meaning they continue glowing AFTER the UV light is removed. 🤯

That rare afterglow happens because of minerals preserved deep within the fossil over thousands upon thousands of years. Science + ancient history + glowy magic? Yes please.

Each one is completely unique with mesmerizing patterns, textures, and colors formed by time itself. Honestly one of the coolest fossil surprises we’ve seen in a long time.
