This tournament is usually held in New Orleans or Baton Rouge, but this year, it’s happening in SWLA. Who knows when we’ll have the opportunity to host something like this in our community again?

On display since July 10, this showcase has allowed us to highlight the work of an individual artist and invite our community to slow down, look closer, and experience something new.

We heard you… and we're giving you MORE TIME!
The submission deadline for CHAOS THEORY 2026: LARGER THAN LIFE has officially been EXTENDED!

⏰ NEW DEADLINE: Saturday, August 15 at 1 PM

This year, we're asking artists to think LARGER THAN LIFE — literally. 👀
We're looking for artwork that plays with SCALE. Go huge. Go bold. Go oversized. Take an idea and make it impossible to ignore.

Think:
🐲 BIG monsters
🎮 BIG pop-culture moments
🧠 BIG ideas
✨ BIG creativity
…and anything else that takes “larger than life” somewhere unexpected.

Whether you've participated in Chaos Theory before or this is your first time, there's room for your creativity here. The show is a long-running Brimstone tradition celebrating the wonderfully weird, nostalgic, creative, and chaotic artists in our community.
