ON DISPLAY
October 2nd - November 15th

Chaos theory began in 2009 as a concept exhibit which would allow artist specializing in various mediums to display their work without being limited to a specific theme. Our vision is simple: Create a show that features art inspired by everything that made us artists. We are searching for talented artists to create pieces inspired by comic books, video games, horror and sci-fi movies, Saturday mor

ning cartoons, music, and other pop culture related subjects. It is our goal to give the surrounding community an art show unlike any they’ve seen before!

Introducing Nichole Douglas! A recent graduate of McNeese State University, Nichole is a skilled painter and digital illustrator whose work reflects her interests!

A super fan of Fallout and Fallout: New Vegas, her painting titled "Leaving the Vault" is a fantastic homage to Fallout 3. In this green-tinged landscape, we see the 'Lone Wanderer' wearing a party hat and stepping out into the post-nuclear world of the Capital Wasteland for their fated journey in search of their father. We love all of the details she chose to include in this piece, including the Nuka Cola delivery truck on the overpass, and the lifeless trees scattered across the wastes.

We were so excited to host this piece in the show, and we can't wait to see what Nichole creates next!

You can visit the Chaos Theory Art Show from now until November 7th at the Henning Cultural Center in Sulphur! Admission is free and we are open M-F: 10-12 & 1-5. 923 S. Ruth St, Sulphur

🎮🎨 Introducing Destiny Seay, a Southwest Louisiana artist making her mark in Chaos Theory with two grunge, pop art pieces—"Controller Drip" and "Devon's Xbox." Using a paint pouring technique, Destiny created works that are almost psychedelic in style, full of vibrant color and rich texture. These pieces have been a hit with guests, and we’re thrilled to feature her as a new and welcome artist in our gallery! We can't wait to see what Destiny creates next.

Come check out her work at Chaos Theory Art Show, on display now through November 7th at the Brimstone Museum! Open M-F: 10-12 & 1-5 and Saturday from 10-2. 923 S. Ruth St, Sulphur. Admission is always free.

🌳🌙 No stranger to this gallery, we're extending a heartywelcome back to Lynn Medicis! Lynn's work was featured during the Catwater Art Show over the summer, and though he's very new to art, he's already putting himself out there and exhibiting his work! We love to see it!

Lynn is an instrumentation and electrical designer by day who 'moonlights' as a painter, and for this year's Chaos Theory Art Show, he created this wonderful artwork titled "Moonlighting." Influenced by the beauty of nature and the world around him, Lynn's landscapes have brought much joy to our patrons, and we were thrilled to display this piece he submitted to the show. The peacefulness of a forest trail in the moonlight sets off the scene as Sasquatch himself goes strolling by.

We love Lynn's style and the way he experiments with mixed mediums in his watercolor paintings. It's always a treat to talk to him about the visions he has for his art and the new techniques he's trying out.

You can support Lynn by ordering a print of his work in the show, or coming to visit and appreciate the beautiful work he's completed.

🌲This piece is on display now until November 7th, along with other regional artists at the Chaos Theory Art Show. Admission is always free 🗓️ M-F: 10-12 & 1-5 and on Saturday from 10-2 | 923 S. Ruth St, Sulphur LA

🎮 Let’s warmly welcome Chaouie Metcalf, one of our talented artists exhibiting in the Chaos Theory Art Show! For Chaouie, art is more than just a passion—it's a catharsis, a way of processing and healing from life’s challenges. His creativity has been a constant source of refuge, helping him connect with both his past and present self.

Chaouie's triptych, "Queen of the Arcade," is a vibrant tribute to retro gaming, filled with nostalgia and love for the classic arcades of our childhoods. These three acrylic paintings are a colorful celebration of creativity, memory, and the joy of being a lifelong gamer. 🎨👾

We love how Chaouie uses art to reach out to others and the "expressive mess" he pours into his work. Come check it out at the Chaos Theory Art Show! Also, happy National Pasta Day! Chaouie loves pasta and wanted to put that in his bio, so we thought today was a good day to introduce him.

🌟 Let's welcome Eli van Sample, a talented high school student who's been creating art his whole life! This is Eli's first time exhibiting in a gallery, and we’re so excited to feature his whimsical creations. One of his standout works is "Windy Night on the Prairie," where he shares, “This was painted in my backyard. I was looking up and saw beautiful stars everywhere, some bigger, some dimmer. The moon hung like a chandelier, expressing its glow.” 🌙✨

His environmental piece "Orchard" also captivates, showing “an orchard before the bloom... the beauty in things that haven’t happened yet, green and full of life.” One of our favorite things about his landscapes is how much these pieces evoke a sense of nostalgia and peacefulness.

We love how Eli chooses to express himself and the beauty of life through his art. It truly lights up our Stardew Valley Fair and Legend of Zelda rooms, and we're thrilled to have him in the Chaos Theory Art Show! 🎨
