‘Read to Act’ & ‘Strong Determination’ by Missy Borden framed oil and cold wax paintings.

When asked about the inspiration behind the two pieces, Missy replied, “For me, these works reflect what it feels like to face challenge with preparation and strength — to stand inside uncertainty without losing center. They carry the energy of being tested, but also the steadiness that comes from knowing you are ready.”

‘Vining Stellar’s Jay’ by sculptural ceramic artist, Julie Anderson, is a hand-built and etched ceramic bird sculpture that mounts on a wall. It comes with a paper template to make installation quick and easy.

The glaze on this piece has a beautiful sparkle to it in person, which is hard to capture in the photograph- so it’s even more magnificent in person!

Join us for the opening reception today —Friday, April 3 — from 5-8pm during First Friday Artwalk.

Inspired by the equinox as a moment of transition, the exhibition explores themes of symmetry, nature, and seasonal change. The collection spans a wide range of styles—from abstract to representational—and moods, from introspective and pensive to luminous and uplifting.

This month we also fare well to Paulina, our paper artist and exhibiting member since 2019. We wish her all the best in her new and exciting endeavors!
