We hate to share this news, but September's First Friday has been canceled due to building repairs. 🔨

We know — we're disappointed too! But we're taking care of our beautiful home on Howe Street so we can keep bringing you the events you love.

Congratulations to two of our very own Artisans Gallery on Howe members who took top honors at the Landfall Foundation's 27th Annual Art Show!

Beth Atkinson took home Best in Show for "Buttermilk Falls" 🥇
Marian MacKerer earned First Place in 2D for "Three to Jive" 🎨

This is a huge achievement and a testament to the extraordinary talent in our gallery. We are so proud of you both! 💛

Kate Magill Walters (2D): Kate's photography captures quiet moments of beauty and a thoughtful perspective of Southport mornings. Come take a few moments to enjoy her collection.

Joanne Michalak (3D): Joanne creates intricate dot art on wood and vinyl records — symmetrical, geometric patterns inspired by mandalas, made slowly and by hand. Every piece is calming, joyful, and deeply intentional.

On display August 18 through September 20 at The Artisans Gallery on Howe. Meet them at First Friday, September 5 · 5–7pm.
