We are now representing the work of New Mexico artist and wildlife advocate LWren Walraven. LWren has worked as a wildlife rehabilitation technician, conducted bird surveys for USFWS, and supported wildlife in many other ways. Two artist residencies in Yellowstone National Park introduced her to the large, majestic animals of the area, and the sketchbooks that she filled during these residencies have become a muse for many of her current mixed media paintings. We just received a delivery of new porcelain tiles by Tim Christensen. Tim works in black and white sgraffito porcelain. Each vessel is made with layers of contrasting clay colors. As he carefully carves a drawing, the top layer slowly peels away, revealing the layer beneath. Tim has worked with black and white porcelain for nearly three decades and has shown his work all over the world, including at the Smithsonian.

Stop by True North to see Tim's sgraffito porcelain tiles and vessels, and other art, fine craft, and gifts. True North is open Weds through Sat 10 to 4 and Sundays 12 to 4.

HAPPY SPRING! After what felt like an extra long and cold winter recess, True North is finally re-opening! We are open today, April 17, from 10 to 3, and Friday and Saturday April 18 and 19, from 10 to 4. Stop by to see new work from artists Mary Pollak and Lee Thompson, as well as other art, fine craft, and gifts!
