Ooh! Looky here at SWAG HeARTSpace--New pieces from The Storyteller's Brush/Sage Dosela-- Aliens arriving at the "Big Ditch", "El Sol Theater", "Murray Hotel", and "Silver City Food Co-Op" .
Each piece showing life on the ground here in Silver City. All pieces priced reasonably at $30 each. Love these new additions!

Been super busy at the studio art space collaborating with Pudge and SWAG Books and More, creating the Community Kindness Card Rack for a dose of happy when you come in. The cards are free, one per person, and hoping you, your friends, kids, etc. will make cards to donate to the cause and help this grow. Used cards can be upcycled using cover only and writing a message on the back. Handmade cards welcome, postcard size or bigger, as long as there's a feel good message or poem on them.
There will be artful opportunities to create them together in the SWAG HeARTSpace room on Fridays or Saturdays starting in August. Follow us on FB or stop by from 11 to 4 on Fri and Sat for more info.
Donations always welcome for supplies and Pudge treats.

Hey friends and customers, we will be closed tomorrow, July 4th, as downtown comes alive with a parade, Gough Park activities, Ice Cream Social at the Silver City Museum, and Seedboat Collective food and music as well as lots of other fun.
We will be open on Sunday from 12 to 3 and have lots of new goodies to show you and great deals to be had!
And guess who's back! PUDGE! The store manager! Come give Pudge a hug and say hi.

Join me and friends at June June's on the corner of Bullard and College for this amazing community opportunity to connect creatively!
June June's has "adopted" the mini medians ("pork chops" they are called) at the intersection of Bullard and College. We collaborated on this fun event of painting homes on rocks for brightening this corner of Silver City's main street downtown.
We've got 60 good sized rocks, generously donated by A.R. Construction, L.L.C for all of us to paint. Supplies provided (except for clothing protection) and the cost is a suggested donation of $5.00 (for SWAG, supplies and artist), but not mandatory. Come and make your mark on this busy corner of our beloved downtown as we beautify Silver City one creative project at a time!

Back in the Creative Chaos game! Bringing 24 new "Stoners" as magnets, wall hangings and desk pals. Price range from $10 to $25.
First ones of 2026...finally!
Making these and watching them come to life starting with eyes, then mouths and noses brings a smile to my being. Add designs here and there, you know they're a friendly tribe of rock stars. And this time the hair pieces were making me laugh, even though no one could hear me!

SWAG bookstore on Bullard Street will host a drop in style origami event on Saturday May 9 from 12 to 2. Come for 10 minutes or come for 2 hours. Save face by making something cute for Mom just in time. (Mother's Day is May 10)

Friday will be my last day with HeARTspace, Shelly will be there working on Art and selling fabulous pieces! I have chosen to do local flea markets and hopefully soon have a booth at This and That.
