The Morgan Township Historical Society will meet at 10 am on September 19 at the Morgan Township Administration Building at 3141 Chapel Road. Brad Sprlock from the Smith Library will explore Butler County's agricultural heritage and the rural communities that shaped the county. All are welcome and coffee, tea and cookies will be served.

The meeting will answer the question "Where the heck is Okeana" and look at the history behind familiar places throughout Morgan Township. The Morgan Township Historical Society will meet on July 18 at 10 am at the Morgan Township Administration Building at 3141 Chapel Road To hear about the places and attractions that made Butler County Summers memorable during the 50's and 60s.! Brian Smith, Executive Director of The Butler County Historical Society, will give the presentation which will probably bring back memories for many. The Morgan Township Historical Society Museum at 6464 Okeana Drewersburg Road will be open on Election Day, May 5th. from 10 am to 2 pm.. The museum was damaged during the Okeana flooding but will be open featuring a display of Calendars the Society published and sold during its early years. A new Calendar is being published for 2027 and will be available for purchase soon.

The work the Trustees arranged to dry out the museum necessitated removal of all artifacts during the drying out process. The support of the Trustees and the many volunteers who removed items and returned them clean was very much appreciated. See less

The Morgan Township Historical Society Museum at 6464 Okeana Drewersburg Road will be open on Election Day, May 5th. from 10 am to 2 pm..
