Today we celebrate the Stars and Stripes, a symbol of unity, hope, and the enduring spirit of America.

At the It's A Wonderful Life Museum, we're reminded that the values represented by our flag are woven throughout the story of It's a Wonderful Life: community, sacrifice, service, and the belief that one person can make a difference in the lives of others.

Did you know one spray can save a life?

Today, on National Naloxone Awareness Day, we're joining communities across the country in raising awareness about naloxone, a safe and effective medication that can reverse an opioid overdose and save a life.

To show our support, our furry friend from Bee's Café is sporting a purple bandana, the official color of Naloxone Awareness Day, and we've also placed the bandana on George Bailey's iconic suitcase here at the It's A Wonderful Life Museum.

The message is simple: every life matters.

Just as George Bailey's story reminds us that each person has an impact on the world around them, National Naloxone Awareness Day reminds us that a single act of preparedness can make all the difference for someone in need.
