Join us June 19th, 7pm for panel between Soo Hong, Azadeh Gholizadeh and Olger Palma about their experiences shared in Bright Tongue, one of two films on view in Illuminate. Following the panel, sehee, the composer of the films’ soundtrack will perform live with a cello, violin and keyboard. RSVP not required but appreciated.

Rock salt melting in installation accompanying Salt Canyons 1.1, 2.2,4.2 by Stefan Gonzales at Future Fair . The salt will change over the course of the fair to mirror the images above. Rock salt was used by Robert Smithson, a land artist whose work intrigues and troubles Gonzales.

Mana Mehrabian is an interdisciplinary artist born and raised in Tehran, Iran, and currently based in eastern Washington State. See Mana’s installation, Layered view, at ⚡️Future Fair May 12-16 ⚡️ Booth F7

Her work explores themes of perception, identity, home, memory, and the body through the lens of the immigrant experience. She examines how images mediate these themes, offering viewers a space to contextualize the work within the larger backdrop of today’s social and political realities.
